Sometimes...

Sometimes I run across things at work that make me laugh.

And I do not have a discrete laugh. My laugh sort of echoes though the halls of hte hallowed institute that we call the NENews.

Today was a little odd though, because I was reading this in an online magazine about pleasing a woman in bed:

"It's OK for you to make noise. Otherwise, we feel like we are fucking a ninja. Unless you actually are a ninja, and have sneaked into our rooms with vibrating nanuchaku and zippered black pajamas, please, please make some noise."

When the masses came running to my office to see what I was wooting at I then had to describe what I was reading...sometimes I think I am headed straight in to a sexual harassments suit without even knowing it.

Photo/The Associate Press

Police in Kirkwood, Mo., say six people are dead tonight, including a gunman and two police officers, after the man opened fire at a city council meeting. Two others were wounded and transported to an area hospital.

The shooting occurred at a meeting of the Kirkwood City Council in suburban St. Louis tonight, hitting the mayor and several council members, according to a newspaper reporter at the meeting.

Police shot the gunman, who had hit Kirkwood Mayor Mike Swoboda, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, which had a reporter attending the meeting.

18-30

There were two people in line when I went to vote. Me and this guy who looked like he was in his late 20s.

"Which ballot would you like today," the clerk asked.

As I said Democrat I could saw him pump his fist to his side.

"Good call," he said, walking away.

I'm calling it now.

UPDATE - 17-14 Giants. Thank you. Now, I am seeing stories asking, "Is America really happy the Patriots lost."

Yes, yes we are. You cheat. You lost. Get over it and go home.

-----------

At 5:24 p.m. - minutes before kick-off - I am predicting the Giants will win.

Why? Becasue I had a dream last night. One of those dreams where later in the week/month/year you experience while awake and go, "Wow, serious feeling of Deja Vu."

In my dream, I am watching TV and the announcer says, "The Giants provded a stunning upset to the Patriot's perfect season..."

Then I woke up.

I put all my money on black for this one, kids.
